The Kyogle community is set to benefit as a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between North Coast TAFE and the Kyogle Council last week.
The Director of North Coast TAFE, Ms Elizabeth McGregor says that the key aim of this partnership is to work cooperatively in education, skills and workforce development for the Kyogle Local Government Area (LGA), and for the Council’s own workforce.
“There are a number of ways we can jointly achieve this aim,” says Ms McGregor. “Together, our two organisations plan to promote the benefits of education and skills development to individuals, communities and enterprises in the Kyogle LGA.”
This strategic alliance includes working collaboratively with each other, the local business community and regional development bodies to support economic, industry and enterprise development, including support for start-up businesses and new businesses relocating to the area.
