Students and staff at North Coast TAFE’s Maclean Campus enjoyed a hearty morning tea at the recent re-opening of the Campus library, after some welcome reorganisation work was completed.

The Library at Maclean TAFE has been shared successfully for many years with the Maclean high school and their students, however with space becoming a premium some serious reorganisation and changes to the library layout was required, which made a great to improvement the facility, making the library much easier to use.

“The improvements came in the form of library space reorganisation and new shelving to house the School/TAFE library materials, plus a new room offering a nice quiet area for TAFE students to study or do their research, plus a restructure of resources, making TAFE specific materials more readily accessible”, said Library Manager Mrs Jill Enks.

The new TAFE library room was officially re-opened by North Coast TAFE Director, Mrs Elizabeth McGregor, who praised the successful collaboration between Maclean High School and Maclean TAFE.
