Why study with us?

North Coast TAFE consists of 17 campuses located across some of the most scenic and exciting parts of the country. The North Coast of NSW is an area of natural beauty that includes pristine beaches, sub-tropical rainforests and lush mountainsides, making it an ideal location to develop your healthy study-life balance! Our campuses are located from The Great Lakes region in the south to the Tweed Heads region on the Queensland border.

Whatever your career goal or path – we’re here to help you achieve it. We provide a wide-range of qualification levels and the variety of our programs means we can meet most of the requirements of all our students. Whether you’re an entry-level learner, school-leaver, career builder or a higher education graduate, we have a program suited to you. We also offer a range of commercial and customised programs and services for industry clients, so if you run a business or are a manager in an enterprise, you will be able to take advantage of our offerings.

With over 600 nationally recognised courses offered there is plenty to choose from when deciding what career path is right for you. To suit whichever way you prefer to study - we give you the flexibility to decide if you want to study on campus, by distance learning, online or a combination of these. We can provide you with on-the-job learning, as well as traineeships, apprenticeships and specifically packaged work-based training arrangements. If you wish to head for university, many of our courses provide a seamless pathway into university study.

Our arrangements in place with our partner universities provide a pathway into many advanced degree programs. In addition, with the recent registration of TAFE NSW Higher Education, North Coast TAFE is developing and offering higher education qualifications.
