This course is recognised by industry as an appropriate qualification for employment as a human resources manager or specialist, or for a line manager, supervisor or team leader undertaking management of the human resources function.
The qualification aims to provide the skills and knowledge required to work in human resources as a manager or specialist or as a supervisor or team leader with HRM responsibilities. The course provides for training and the development of competencies in the following areas:

- IR policies and processes and IR dispute management;
