Coxswain
This course is for people who want to develop the practical skills and knowledge required to work as a coxswain. You will learn to take charge of vessels less than 12 metres in length and with engines up to 250kW, operating within inshore limits (up to 15 nautical miles from the coast). Evidence of sea time/service on board a vessel will be required to obtain a Certificate of Competency from the state regulatory authority.
