We have a strong practical component to allow our students to be work-ready once graduating. Our staff work closely with the industry to ensure our courses are relevant to today’s work environment.
We also offer short, customised and commercial courses to meet specific skills needs or for employers seeking training for their staff.
Career prospects
In NSW, tourism is a $28 billion industry and is one of Australia’s largest with approximately 2.7 million people travelling to Australia each year on a holiday. That accounts for more than $34 billion going towards Australia’s GDP.*
Supported by the strong tourism sector, hospitality is one of the NSW North Coast’s largest employers, accounting for 7.9% of the region’s workforce, and 7.7% of the total NSW workforce. The accommodation and food services industry had the largest job growth in NSW in 2010/11 with a net increase of 41,700 employees*
