Studying online
North Coast TAFE uses web-based materials designed to engage and stimulate you, not simply a collection of resources. You are supported and guided in your learning by teachers with interaction by email, forums and chat groups.
You also have access to support services through your local campus.
Learning wherever, whenever
Online courses and modules can be accessed from home, in the workplace or at North Coast TAFE. This allows you to continue your education at a time, and in a way, that meets your individual needs, no matter what your situation.
Online study patterns
North Coast TAFE online course and competency unit study patterns range from online via the internet to "on-campus" web-based materials which support face-to-face learning. Courses and units may be delivered in blended learning - a blend of online delivery with scheduled face-to-face workshops, block learning, practicals or face-to-face teaching. The aim is to provide a range of flexible online study patterns which meet the needs of North Coast TAFE customers.
Student e-Services
Student e-Services is a facility that allows students, including those studying online, to view their personal and enrolment details, subject results and employer details over the internet. You are able to change your contact details online and request a transcript of your enrolment record to be sent to your home.
Open campus
North Coast TAFE has established the Open Campus for students interested in online study, flexible/distance options where your needs may be served from several different campuses. Students enrolled in the open campus can access advice and support through our libraries.
