North Coast TAFE's English Language Centres offer a range of English language courses designed for students to improve their English for international communication, personal development, business and professional purposes or further study.

Teaching methods
A combination of teaching methods designed to suit the student's learning styles are used, including:

- 20 hours per week of face-to-face teaching

Accommodation
Homestay accommodation with families close to the English Language Centre is available. Homestay will help you develop your English skills quickly and to make friends in the area.
Assessment
Ongoing formal and informal assessment include individual and group assignments, language skills tests, portfolio and project work, and class presentations. Students receive continuous feedback and end of term progress reports.
On completion of each course students receive a TAFE Certificate and transcript.
